How do you know if you love someone or even like them?

I'm currently in my first relationship and we have been dating for about 3 months now. Its defenetly been the best 3 months of my life, and unfortunately I have had thoughts of breaking it off. I just dont know if it's just that I'm paranoid about something, or if I dont like them. We have a lot of problems, the sex isnt great, shes very beautiful, but sometimes I think she looks ugly(I'm not trying to be mean or offensive, but is that normal to sometimes think that of your partner?) We are not great and making conversation, but its always a very comfortable silence if we are not talking. We joke and have fun, but most importantly I'm always happy when I'm with her, but is that enough? I dont know if these are normal problems and I'm just being picky, or if these are reasons to break it off. Any thoughts on what to do?
