Regarding yesterday's "guys like it when girls text first".....

I [24f] find it hard to believe that a majority of guys are okay and appreciate when a girl messages back first. I have been talking to a guy [24m] for a while, and I'm usually the one who texts first, initiates first, and is always asking HIM questions. He never does any of it, but he'll response in paragraphs back. I'll get responses soooo much later so wasting my time on him was pointless. I stopped replying back to a dead end conversation after he left me on read for literally a week, saying he had alot of work to do and got busy. How hard is it to take less than a minute to respondd back?

It's as if he'll come back from the dead later, most likely when he's bored. I've gotten excuses for late responses like "was busy with work", "my furnace blew up", "was with the parents" (mind you it was 7 hours), my dog bit my phone and broke it". It's ridiculous.

So when someone asked whether guys prefer girls messaging and initiating first, I find it only applies to some guys, since this guy seriously didn't appreciate me initiating first (note, i wasn't even naggy or messaged often, so i don't know his problem)
