Gentlemen, how would you like to be let down or have date canceled?
I (22f) recently agreed to go on a date with a guy I met from tinder. Admittedly, I agreed to go on the date way too fast as I’d only been talking to him for a few hours when he asked. At the moment it seemed like a great idea, he was funny and charming + I have 0 dating experience so why not? However, after talking with him a bit more I just don’t think it’s going to work. The chemistry just isn’t there and after telling him that I wanted to be as covid safe as possible he’s still asked me to come over to his place to presumably mess around and also go to a casino with him. I don’t want to waste his time or his money on this date. My go-to method is usually ghosting but I’ve been trying my hardest not to do that. My question for the guys is: how would you want to be let down? Do you want the harsh truth? Would a lie/excuse feel better? Is ghosting fine in this case sense it’s only been 2 days of chatting?
