The one that got away

Okay so about two years ago me and my close friend group who went in the same class at the time where havin a little party and we got a bit buzzed. We went out on a walk and me and this girl in my friend group who i secretly liked actually kissed me and said she liked me. I got surprised as i thought she was in another leauge and we went for a long walk and confessed our feelings for eachother. The next week was amazing and a bit awkward cus we were in the same class etc. We talked a lot in school and texted eachother nonstop for about 3 months.

Suddenly we got cold feet because if we started dating for real and things didnt turn out well our friend group would be ruined. She pushed the decision more than I did to end it. I was feeling really bad about it for the next months, especially when she started talking bout other guys. (she’s really attractive and she’d only been single for 3 months when she made the move on me and guys were on her instantly). So she ended up getting a boyfriend and they are still together about 1,5 years now later. Annoyingly enough she have been flirty with me on some parties but it may just be her joking around since we are good friends.

Well now she’s bout to leave and study in a different country for minimum 1 year and I still have feelings for her. i’ve never told her that and it seems disrespectful to her relationship to tell her. But yeah, the one that got away i guess

I’ve had some small things with other girls but never felt like i did with her. And honestly she’s been in the back of my head ever since. How do I move on?

My (27f) gf (27f) is getting tired of me not sharing intimate/ personal info about me

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. We have more than a year together and we’ve been living together for like 6 months, we get along pretty good and I’m really in love with her, however I can not seem to open up... and I can tell it’s frustrating to her by the way she tells me it bothers her that she feels she’s the only one committed and the one that’s always sharing... My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now. We hit it off and spent a lot of time together but she began to push our relationship as if there were a time clock for milestones.
