/u/Genrak on Thank you to the user who came to bat for me against this aphobic comment on a post in relationship advice about an adult woman who recently discovered her asexuality, something I relate to very much. This was my first personal experience with aphobia. We are valid and we are not broken.

I had the same reasoning when i finally realised i was ace. I decided to do full bloodwork to see if i was not low on my sex hormones or something. Turns out i was 100% fine and was really just not interested in sex. I can understand the persons reasoning. But to call this aphobia might be pushing it a little.
