Can I have more of an emotional connection with my fwb?

First off, I [f,19] know its not the point of fwb to have a deep emotional connection! I don't want something like that, I'm just having fun. However, I need at least basic conversation & some emotional/mental stimulation to not feel like a cumsock. My fwb doesn't ever ask me about my life, and we barely have any casual conversation. I just find it weird compared to other situations I've been in? I don't know how to have a "talk" with him because we're so casual. And I don't want to find a new fwb because his dick game IS great. Or am I just playing with fire wanting this connection?

My (27f) gf (27f) is getting tired of me not sharing intimate/ personal info about me

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now. We hit it off and spent a lot of time together but she began to push our relationship as if there were a time clock for milestones.
