What should I do?

I (28f) started seeing a guy (30m) over the holidays. We matched on Tinder, and ended up meeting a couple days after we exchanged numbers. So far we have been out about 4 times and things were going smoothly while we were both off from work.

However, now that the holidays are done, and we are back to work, he barely seems to have any time to message me and he hasn't initiated any plans to see me. I understand he is self-employed and works pretty much every day (where as I am self employed and work 5 out of 7 days), but I can't help but feel he isn't very interested in me. Unless he is, but hes too occupied to show it. I asked him to hang out over the weekend, but he couldn't because he had to work and he didn't seem too interested in finding a time to reschedule. In terms of texting, sometime he will initiate and sometimes I will but the last few days it has been me. We don't text much though, maybe a few exchanges of messages.

My question is, should I ask him if he is interested or do I just wait another week or two and see if anything changes? I like this guy so I don't want it to fizzle out, but I can't force his interest, and I would rather know than be anxious about this everyday. What do you guys suggest I do? I don't want to scare him off or annoy him by seeming overly-eager.

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse.
