How I [18M] became interested in her [~21F]

I don't even know her age, but I know there is a big difference.

Background:

I am just a high school senior who decided to take an internship to decide on his career. I already know that I will study biomedical engineering at a rather good college in my country. I am at a hospital helping *engineer A –*who is the first line of response when medical equipment from a specific company is broken.

She is a recent college graduate who is taking an internship at the same place with *engineer b –*an engineer from another company also installing and fixing equipment (I think).

The first day in my internship...

Both of our groups greeted each other in a hallway and engineer b mentioned that she should be with us the next few days to "learn something new" and "meet ;) new people". She looked quite young and I was excited to meet someone new. Next thing I know, we are working on a CT machine maintenance and she's there. We were left alone for a small while and I got to know she's a college graduate. She is still waiting for her degree, and she doesn't even have a job, since she's an unpaid intern at the hospital. I instantly made clear I am still in high school, but we kept talking in the same way. The rest of the day we were working with the other engineers and it was more casual. We were literally testing radiation equipment, so we were trapped for a while in a small room all getting along quite well.

Today, she didn't even join engineer A and I because we were just fixing paperwork and such. Engineer A ignored her and engineer B when they sent messages because he was quite sick. When we, again, saw them walking by, we greeted each other. Instead of just a regular greeting, she called me by my name (which I don't even remember mentioning too much, and I don't think engineer A is sure about how I'm called), and she was also closer. They left because they had other things to do and I thought I wouldn't see her.

Fast forward a while, and engineer A is really sick. We had to kill time while we waited for some people to arrive, so we entered a room with a CT scanner and just sat there. Because she saw us enter the building, she later joined us in the small room. Engineer A had to take a phone call and left (for actually a really long time). We just spoke for a really long while, and the entire time, it really had some strange vibes. It was not the usual professional talk or the kind of conversations I have with engineer A, but it felt weird. She kept laughing while telling stories of her intership, or when I asked questions. I really liked her smile. When engineer A arrived she left after a brief conversation.

Tomorrow engineer A and I will actually be fixing a machine and she'll be joining us. I just hope I don't get too nervous around her. I'm probably just not good at interpreting a casual talk. I know nothing will come out of it because of the age difference, but it's fun to be around her and it's been a while since I've been interested in someone.

TLDR; I found a girl at my internship who I'm interested in, and we are getting along.
