Do other people think guys should consider themselves consider themselves lucky, as I do, if they've got a girlfriend/wife who went through a "slutty" phase or are more experienced than them?

I can't understand why some men judge or look down on women's sexual past. Men should be grateful if their gf/wife went through a "slutty" phase for so many reasons.

  1. It means their gf/wife is sexually confident and enjoyed herself in the past. The fact that the woman you love has experienced intense pleasure with different types of lovers means she knows her body and what she likes and what she doesn't like. It's also awesome that she's had a great past full of uninhibited fun and pleasure.
  2. She's likely more experienced than you and/or has had more sexual partners than you, as is the case with my gf even though she's younger than me, and is likely to be awesome in bed and know tricks that will blow your mind. Be grateful those other guys got the awkward sex while she was still learning who she was and becoming a confident woman.
  3. It's badass that she doesn't care what society thinks and does what she wants with her body. No matter how casual or random a sexual partner was, she was letting her inside her because it was what she wanted and what brought her pleasure.
  4. Every single one of those sexual encounters shaped who she is now as the woman you love.
  5. Out of all of those guys, she chose you.

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
