“Let’s just elope.”

That’s what he said to me a week ago,

We’re both shy souls, we find solace in each other when life becomes overbearing. We’ve been engaged nearly a year, and our families keep asking us when we’ll tie the knot but today we’ve finally decided.

We’re not going to tell anyone, we’re going to get a babysitter, and a hotel room somewhere far away and get married. Just the two of us, and I’ve been smiling constantly since we’ve made that decision.

He keeps asking me if I’ll be disappointed that I’m not getting the big traditional wedding, and no. I never wanted that, and this just fits us so well, it’s perfect. He’s perfect. I love him.
