For whoever needs to hear it, you deserve better than someone who is ok with hurting you.

Long story short, I met a girl and I really liked her, like more than I have anyone for a really long time. We hung out a few times and talked everday for about 3 weeks. Then our conversations slowed to a trickle until she just stopped replying. Of course I feel hurt and it's fucked up and all that. Ive been pretty torn up. But I've come to the conclusion that I deserve better than that.

I've always subscribed to the idea that no one owes anyone anything or is under any obligation, and that's still true. But if they can go from being all up in with you day in and day out, then to treating you like you don't matter at all, you don't have to stand for that. I have my fair share of self esteem issues and fears of being alone sometimes, so this realization hit me pretty strongly and I'm glad it did. She might seem nice, but the truth is if she ignores you, she sucks. Most people believe they're good people, but that doesn't mean that they are up to your standards of what that means.

Tldr: Ghosting is an awful thing, please don't do it. Stand up for yourself even if you don't want to.

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
