Why did she do this?

So I had been dating this girl for a little over 2 months. She had just gotten out of a really bad breakup in May and I'm thinking I was a rebound since we started talking in July. Anyway, she was showing high signs of interest for about 3 weeks, then we had sex and she started getting more distant (I messed up and had the relationship talk with her - I know better now).

Anyway, we never had sex again and she kept me at such a distance, though we did go on a few more dates, that I essentially felt like a text buddy. This wasn't what I wanted so I told her straight up that we should stop texting everday in order to have more to talk about on our dates. She said that was cool and then I called her 2 days later to setup a date. She didn't pick up, immediately texted me she was busy and didn't call back till 3 days later. I was busy at work and didn't answer so I called her that night and got no answer. I called 1 week later and got no answer either so I gave up, because 2 unreturned calls is disrespectful imo.

Fast forward 1.5 weeks of no contact, she comes to my business yesterday as a customer with her friend I've met before (girl friend). She knows I'm the owner and knew I would be here... She asked what I'd been up to and we exchanged short formalities then got to business. I noticed she was staring at me most of the time and lingered a bit before leaving. She said she would be back, but that's the last I heard from her yesterday.

I haven't texted or anything because I still consider my last missed call unreturned, so balls in her court. Why would she randomly do this now, and what would you do in return?

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse.
