When we first became friends, you were going through a rough patch, grieving over the death of your mother. And although I barely knew you, and although I was with someone else, I just wanted to be there for you and give you my love. You were that good kid that didn't mess around with girls, and never got into any trouble. You're what they call a "good boy". You knew he wasn't treating me right, and you were always there as my backbone, holding me up, when you were the one who needed stability. Only a few months later, I left something toxic, and a month after that, realized it was you I wanted to give all my love to, it was you I wanted to give my life to. And when you said you liked me, well damn that took me by surprise. Baby, the past year and a half, all you've done was treat me with love, respect, brought me light on my darkest days, made me laugh when I didn't feel like laughing at all.
