I think I messed up by having an Instagram weird username

So I met this girl at an event out of town, and we had a good time. During the day we exchanged Instas, and then hang out with some friends. On the bus ride back to the city, we sat together and chatted for the whole hour. A couple days later I slid in her DM s asking her how she's doing, but she didn't answer. I usually go by the motto, if she doesn't reply, she's just not into you, so double texting will only make her feel uncomfortable, so I just try to move on and call it quits.

Now, a couple hours later I thought about my username, and that it is my middle name, which she doesn't know, coz I wrote my insta on her phone. So there's a chance she didn't recognize who just texted her. Could also be she did recognize me and just didn't vibe with me. Either way, I'm not sure if I should double down with a : " Hey, it's OP, by the way", but if she always knew it was me, it'd be pretty embarrassing.

Should I risk it? Worst case scenario is I bother her a little more and embarrass myself even further.

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse.
