Text a peace sign after ghosted?

I met this guy on tinder and I was scheduled to move back to school the day after. We went on a really great first date. He made it clear he wanted to see me again, however I think I came of a little suspicious since I said I went on the date "for the hell of it bc I was bored." To make up for it, I texted him after the date saying I had a great time and he responded with the same. We messaged for a bit the following few days. He sent me a whole recipe at one point telling me how to make it; I had a lot of questions so I responded with quite a few messages. He has not responded in the 5 days since. I thought the guy was great up until he pulled this.

I was thinking of either just leaving it or texting him a lone peace sign.

Good idea?
