How to turn down a date
I recently went to this volunteering event at my university and while there this guy approached me very politely. We spoke for a while and at the end he asked for my number. I wasn’t very into him but not opposed to maybe talking more. He seemed normal enough. Fast forward a few days later he reaches out asking me what my weekend plans are. Honestly, I don’t think I’m that interested in him. We talked for awhile at the original event and I just wasn’t attracted to him. I know one date isn’t the end of the world but idk if I feel eager to go. So I was just wondering what’s a polite way to make that clear. I don’t have much dating experience which is why I’m asking.
I also know this is a chance to gain more but idk I just wasn’t into it that much and more gave him my phone number to be nice. He wasn’t a bad guy but I don’t think our personalities and goals match well
