Went on a few dates with a girl who told me she wasn't looking for a relationship

So at first she put in alot of effort in seeing me, texting me etc. Then after about a month I rarely heard from her and she cancelled on me, decided not to initiate anything anymore, then she sent me a message two weeks later. At this point I already realized that I actually wasn't okay with dating her anymore if there is no possibility of a relationship, so I texted her exactly that. I am just confused as to what she was looking for exactly, as we would hold hands, make out and always kiss goodbye. Which doesn't seem really far from a relationship for me.

The difference between being right and being understood

My (27f) gf (27f) is getting tired of me not sharing intimate/ personal info about me

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
