does it hurt a lot when the hymen break?

hi, i'm Grace i'm a teenager and i'm a virgin (even to i already had oral sex), this may sound stupid but i really need to know/help. i've been thinking about this (breaking my own hymen) for quite some time and i wanna try but i'm too afraid it may hurt. until idk 3 months ago i never penetrated anything inside my vagina, but i started with small things (really thin things and ALWAYS with condoms) then i started putting larger things inside me like hmm my mascara tube. it didn't hurt at all but i was very patient. so i'm thinking about breaking my own hymen and i NEED to know if it will hurt (hmm in a scale of 0 to 10) and how can i do it (2 fingers? the mascara bottle? do i need to force it or...?)

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse.
