Estimates vary wildly (I’ve heard everything from 0.5%-5% of the population) and the newer studies do tend to have higher numbers, which would make sense as awareness rises (and other LBGT+ identities are also being reported in higher numbers as acceptance also rises). Thing about a spectrum is there isn’t a definitive cut off point where you can be like - these are the aces and these are not, so you’ll probably never get an absolute number but yeah I think it’s way more common for people to be aspec than the general population thinks
