My personal opinion, certainly not universally shared (and that's okay), is that I'm not part of the LGBT community. But I'm not "normal," either. I feel like one of those little fish that swim alongside a shark, or one of those birds that ride around on an elephant or a rhino.

We are such a diverse group that it makes sense for there to be differing views on whether or not we're LGBTQIA+. If it feels right, then go for it. If it doesn't, then don't worry about it.
