/u/yellownalgene on My newly discovered asexuality & Should I come out to my boyfriend?

Hey it’s me again! I just really wanted to let you know that I told him I’m asexual. I just kind of blurted it out lol. It went surprisingly okay! There was definitely a little shock at first, but I told him about everything I learned from this Reddit page and understood and was proud of me. I think our plan it to play it day by day and be really honest with each other to make sure neither of us are comprising to the point of resentment. But I have high hopes! It was definitely scary, but I’m really glad I did it
