A little love story

It was on April 2012 that they met. She was working her shift at Sonic and he was applying there. She went to the back part of the store and he was sitting there in a green and white button up shirt, cargo shorts, and sneakers. They exchanged greetings and the day went on. He got the job and would be starting soon. They had many shifts together but for now they were just co-workers. Weeks pass and they have gone from co-workers to friends. One day she was complaining about everyone texting her at work and he said "well it's not me, I don't have your number." Without saying anything she reaches into his pocket, puts her number in his phone and puts it back in his pocket. "Well now you do" she says. They started texting each other randomly, just talking about anything and nothing. He starts to feel something for her but he realizes a problem. She was with someone at the moment. But little did he know she didn't really want to be the guy she was with. So he starts dropping hints that they should break up and she agrees. She tries to break it off with J and J tells her that he's going to kill himself if she breaks up with him. She does anyway ,because she doesn't believe him, with the assistance of her new love. He calls J and makes it clear it's over because J just wouldn't let it go. Well they make it official on August 9th 2012. She invites him over to her house to play some card games with her best friend and her boyfriend. He agrees that he would. The time comes and he pulls into the yard. They play Uno, even have an hour and a half long round. While playing she texts her friend that she wishes that he'd kiss her tonight. Girls will be girls, they go to the kitchen to gossip and he gets shown the text that she sent by the friends boyfriend. They finish playing and time to go. She asks him to come to her room so she can give him 'City of Bones' by Cassandra Claire. She hands it to him thinking this will be the moment he kisses her. Forever (for her) goes by and he doesn't move so she walks away without him kissing her. Right before he leaves they take a picture together to remember the night, their first picture together. A couple of days go by and they work opposite shifts. As she was leaving her shift, he was starting his. As she was leaving he followed her out the back door. He pushes her up against the wall and kisses her. He says that it tastes like brown sugar. Next shift they have together they leave together and she goes to his house and this is what seals it for them. Once she sits down in this house they become almost inseparable from then on. They loose the house and have to move out. They didn't have anywhere they could go where they could stay together so they spend a week in her mother's old trailer that still had power. They move to his mamaws just so they can be together. Her birthday comes around and she goes back to her family and ends up staying there for a few months. He moves in with a friend so he can be closer to her. But eventually moves in with her and her family. Months pass and they move back to his mamaws and they have been in that town ever since. They had a few rough parts where things weren't so good but at the end of the day they stayed together throughout it all. It is 8 years that they have been together! Their love still growing, growing with them. Strengthening their relationship each day. They both loved each other with everything they had. They weren't rich or lived in a fabulous house but they were together. Which is all they needed. As long as they were together they could and would face the world together.
