confused n need advice!!

so I (21F) matched w this guy (22M) while I was in NYC a few weeks ago, we had a lot of niche similarities which was cool (both from the same part of Maryland, favorite movies + tv shows, same taste in music and even the same favorite songs from those artists) and humor wise we just seemed like we would click. so he adds me on Spotify, Snapchat, Letterboxd, AND we exchanged numbers and we’re texting and said we would meet up in NYC. So the day comes we’re supposed to meet up and he doesn’t text me all day, I hit him with a “hey just checking in are we still on for tonight?” He responds like an hour later saying that he’s sorry it’s actually a bad weekend for him bc it was his last weekend in NYC before going back home to Maryland. I’m like okay cool no worries we can hangout when you get back!

Fast forward to like 2 weeks later, I was just randomly scrolling through my matches and saw his profile and just decided to click on it and saw that he was now only like 20 miles away from me meaning he’s back home, and he updated a bunch of his pics meaning he was active on there, but he hasn’t said one word to me. I texted him yesterday just a casual ‘hey how’re you!:)’ and haven’t gotten a response yet. Just kinda bums me out he’s probably the first guy I’ve ever matched with (I’ve had a tinder since I was 18) that I’ve felt I had the most in common + somewhat of a connection with.

Any ideas on what I should do? Just leave it be and say fuck em? Or try to reach out one more time??

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
