They say people's thoughts don't change much as they get older. So when do people stop caring about looks and other superficialities?

I've heard old people say they think the same way as they did when they were much younger. The difference is now they're in an old wrinkly body. But old men still have the same filthy minds, and still like the same young women. It's like they want to hold onto that youth.

It seems to me that up to a certain young age, women only want to date their own age range and men must meet a certain threshold in physical appearance.

But looks fade, and we all get old, ugly, and wrinkly eventually.

So when do looks stop mattering?

I'm 40, and can't imagine when/how I'd be attracted to a 70 year old, if I'm still single at that age. I'm just not wired that way, yet?
