Would it be wrong to reach out to an old crush who I stopped communicating with?

I connected with this guy during a semester of college, who shared some pretty deep stuff with me. We once talked for 3 hrs straight in the school parking lot. That whole semester we hung out. Things started going downhill when I started developing feelings for him. At first, I tried denying it failed, so when the semester came to a close end, he mentioned he was kinda dating someone. Since we never really communicated that well through text, and he basically had a girlfriend, I took him off my Snapchat. I waited to long to express my feelings and felt it would be awkward otherwise if I hadn't taken him off. I know it was probably a shitty thing to do but at the time it made sense to me. Unfortunately, after all this time, I haven't gotten over him probably should. Would I be wrong to reach out now

My (27f) gf (27f) is getting tired of me not sharing intimate/ personal info about me

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
