My husband wants me to bring something new to sex and I need ideas.

Tomorrow is our 9 year anniversary, and today my husband asked me to find something that is new sexually that would be different than our normal thing. I am at a loss. I am personally very submissive in sex and feel like I don't know what I am doing most of the time. I prefer to be told or asked about what we are doing. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse.
