I think my BFF (30 F) of over 20 years may have had a bachelorette party without me (30 F). Should I ask her about it?

My BFF and I have been friends since early elementary school and are still very, very close friends, despite living in different states for most of that time. We were part of a mutual friend group for several years, and about five years ago, one of the other girls and I had a really bad falling out (mutual fault, honestly). She and I are passively civil at parties; the other two girls and I from the friend group get along well. BFF got married recently, an evening wedding. By design, the wedding was very small--the bride and groom's parents and siblings, me, the three other girls from our old friend group and two of their husbands, and a friend of the groom--less than 20 guests. She described it as not having a wedding party because they only invited the people that would have been in their wedding party. No rehearsal dinner or anything was mentioned on the invites. A couple of weeks ago, BFF texted me and asked me if I wanted to do something the morning of her wedding, saying s...

Do I still have a chance?

So ive been having a crush on this girl for months now. She already my friend before I had a crush on her. But because of my efforts she now says Im her best friend. So ive been meaning to finally ask her out but today something really caught me off guard. My friend group we were playing this game of rate a person in the scale of 1 to 10 based on looks. Eventually someone asked her about me and her anwser was: 8.5 because he is not my type of guy but he's my friend. That kinda really hurt me inside. Do I still have a chance to get out of the friendzone? If so were do I go on from now? TL;DR: My crush rated me an 8.5/10 based on looks. Her reasoning was: "He is not my type of guy but he's my friend" Submitted December 10, 2019 at 12:20AM So ive been having a crush on this girl for months now. I F26 just realised that my ex M26 of 3.5 years dumped me because I got fat, is this normal?

Together 3.5 wonderful years. I gave him my heart and soul, supported him through everything. I was his rock. He dumped me out of nowhere a month ago, after a month of being really distant and no affection and rejecting all my advances. He's already moved on so quickly and I just don't get it. It's so at odds with the man I thought he was. I'm so confused and shocked still. I'm depressed and devasted, how real love go away like that. However today I was deleting him off my social media, because it hurts so much to see happier times right now. And I realised when I was loooking back and remembering without rose tinted glasses, that his love and affection for me directly declined, with my weight increase. When studying for my masters degree last year I gained 30lbs. Before this we'd been in a relationship for 2 years and I didn't change physically. I was really popular with guys in my college and dated loads of them when I was single, but any 'good'...

Am I shallow for breaking things off because I wasn't attracted to her body?

I (M23) recently broke things off with a girl after about a month and a half of dating. Personality wise she was amazing. Shared my sense of humor (which is rare,) conversation was always interesting. The first and last time we had sex it felt like a chore because of my lack of physical attraction to her body. I just keeping going back and forth in my mind on if it was the correct decision. Anyone else been in the same situation? I (25M) want to give her (19) a call tonight.

There is this girl I know from classes, after some complicated and awkard interactions between the two of us (without going into much detail), we never got a chance to talk and have a conversation. It is hard to know if she is into me or not, I guess she was expecting me to make a strong move on her? I never understood what she expected or wanted me to do besides being more confused. Yes, we both know who we are, we are around the same group of people, and we both have each others numbers. Semester is over so making a move on her in person is not an option. I want to call her, talk and flirt with her and eventually ask her out. If she does not ánswer, then I´ll just leave her a message: ´´Hey I gave you a call because I wanted to talk with you´´. If she does not respond, I´ll just leve it at that. Does this sound good? Anything else I could do better? I'm not sure if her (F26) interest in me (M25) is waning?

I've been speaking to a woman for 2 weeks now, met on a dating site. Got on really well, plenty in common, the banter is great too. Met this weekend for a first date - held hands back to my train after drinks, had a good time and we agreed we'd have a second date. The day after she was her normal self and even drunk texted me, which was cute. She was hungover and tired yesterday so her texts were different, shorter, slower replies but always at least a reply. Today has been harder, more laughing with me in a desperate way. I raised the idea of adding her on Facevook but due to her job I couldn't due to her privacy settings. Suggested she added me. Nothing and no reply to that so we moved on. Tonight has been harder and feels like she's really lost interest in me, comments about "i don't mind you talking to other girls" when I stated I only speak and date one women at a time (old fashioned, I know), not really making an effort when the banter beforehand...
