SO [F40] wants to break up because of boiled eggs with me [M40] be

Dear all my SO wants to break up because we learned how to boil eggs differently. Usually when eggs are boiled by me, I poke a hole in the shell with a needle. SO rather likes to boil them hard on lower temperature untouched. Recently I recognized them being cracked in the water and not being prepared with hole in the shell. I've been told that the eggs have always been prepared by that. SO breaks up now, because I argue about that. How is this trait of SO called? Regards

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
