How do you know when you’re mature enough to start dating again?

I’ve really stopped dating all together since the beginning of the pandemic, which is when my break up happened. I’ve been in lots and lots of therapy since then, self-reflecting on how I could’ve been a better partner and mistakes I’ve made.

I do want to date/be in a relationship, but I’m also lonely, which makes me worry that I might be motivated for the wrong/not healthy reasons? I’m working a lot on building up my hobbies and social circles too.

At what point makes you “ready” to date?
