Just met this girl, advice?

I officially met this one girl, who is in my class, at a party this past weekend. Prior to that, we spoke like a few words to each other about the assignment since we were partners for like a minute. Besides that, we don't talk at all in class.

Well at this party, I see her and go up to her to ask and confirm if it was her in my class, we talk ask the basics, where are you from, what major, year, etc. Then after that she immediately asks for us to take a picture since she said she likes going to parties to take pictures. We took a few but she said they were alright lol, I agree I looked a bit goofy. I was also confused of her wanting to take pictures if we literally just met.

She seems cool so far and I'm thinking of asking her out/to hang out but I don't know if it's too early or whatnot. She also sits next to me so it could be awkward if she says no. And I'm not sure if us taking pictures together is necessarily a good thing(can't be a bad thing) or her way of wanting me to go up to her; I may just be overthinking stuff tbh

Thoughts or recommendations?
