Talked to a former classmate of mine on the bus. Guy behind me asked me why I didn’t ask her out after she got off.

This made me self-conscious as to whether he noticed signs I didn’t about her liking me. Truthfully, I do think shes cute and almost asked her out once after class last spring. Since then, I have run into her every now and then but it was usually awkward and brief. I’ve seen her on dating apps but she never swiped right on me. Apparently she matched with my friend who was in that same class with us and even tried talking to him but he’s not into her.

However, the point is that I should ask her out just to get experience and see what she says. Clearly we run into each other often enough. Would it be weird to look her up on social media and follow her or should I wait and see if I catch her at the bus again and then do it?

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
