Met someone abroad and don’t know what to do.

Starting of with a little back story: So last year (april-June 2022) I was on an erasmus internship abroad. Now on my first night out I met this girl. Then a couple of weeks went by with some chatting during that time. I was out another day on the weekend and suddenly we bumped into each other (not planned). After that we saw each other again regularly until a couple of hours before my flight back home. We said our goodbyes (was a wonderful time aswell as a little bit sad at the same time).

Then the first weeks/months when I was back home I missed her alot.

Then the (christmas) holidays came and I started to miss her again very intensely.(trouble falling asleep last couple of weeks)

Now recently we had some contact again online after a long time. And I’m debating on telling her how I feel. (I think I have nothing to lose with this) She lives quite far away (european standars ~ 3h flight) Although I always wanted to work/live abroad and never planned to stay in my home country(Belgium) forever. So going back there one day (holiday/moving) and seeing her again is a possibility. And due that reason I’m doubting more and more if I should tell here how I feel.

I never had this feeling with someone before and when I would have stayed there longer (had the option, still regretting this) we probably could have taken things further.

My (27f) gf (27f) is getting tired of me not sharing intimate/ personal info about me

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
