Does my professor have a crush on me?

Hear me out … I’m 21 in college and my professor is in his mid 30’s. He’s very handsome, smart, funny and everyone likes him. The best part is he’s single with no kids.

I noticed last semester he would look at me when I wasn’t paying attention. When I would catch him he would either look away or down. The few times he would make eye contact with me is when he makes jokes or tells funny stories. I’m very quiet so we never rlly interacted until one day I shared something personal with the class his eyes lit up and he said, “Thank you for sharing (my name) blah blah blah…” But when the other kids shared after that he didn’t care.

Here’s where it gets good…. On the last day of class last semester we were busy taking notes for the final exam. As I’m taking notes I could feel his eyes on me. Then I looked up at him and this time he raised his eyebrows and gave me that “what’s up?” nod that guys do. I smiled shyly and then we broke eye contact. Class ended and during break I’m out to dinner with my fam. As our hostess is showing us to our table we walk past my professor and his group of friends. I didnt realize it was him until halfway through dinner he stood up and started staring at me from behind a wall. I have bad vision far away so im like, "wth why is this guy staring at me?" By the time i realized it was him he had already left. I felt so bad for not saying hi or anything.

Now it’s the start of the new semester and I’m taking another one of his classes. Yesterday was the first day and he would still stare at me when I wasn’t looking. I want to be with him but I don’t know if he’s willing to take it that far. Any ideas?
