Genuinely don’t understand what I did wrong

So there’s this girl at my work who I’ve had a crush on for a while. We’re both 21. I finally asked her out to lunch a few weeks ago after months of wanting to ask her out but being too shy. She said yes and gave me her number. I texted her on thanksgiving saying “I hope you have a great thanksgiving :)” then she replies an hour later with aw thanks you too. Everything was going great, we were talking at work more and it seems like we were getting more comfortable around each other. Then out of no where she just randomly started not replying or opening my messages, which I immediately knew as she was ignoring me since before when I’ve texted her she’s replied within an hour every time. I texted her on November 28 asking if she was free that Thursday, no response at all. At work she paid it no mind as if nothings happened. I called her last Sunday night just seeing if she didn’t see the texts and would pick up the phone. She didn’t of course, so I left a message saying I was still interested in taking her out and asking her to shoot me a text or call, still nothing.

Now she’s not even talking to me at work and just flat out ignoring me or staring at me. We had a Christmas party on Sunday and she just flat out wouldn’t even look my direction whenever I was in her sight. I have absolutely no idea why she’s acting like this or what I did wrong. I’m a bit upset because this is such childish behavior and it makes me mad that instead of us talking like adults and her telling me what’s up, she just thinks the better option is to act like I don’t exist and ignore me. Whenever she looks at me she immediately looks away. I talked to one of my female friends about it and she thinks either I came off too strong with hitting her up too much, or she was talking to someone already and wanted to respect him. That second one doesn’t make sense tho because if she was already with someone, why would she say yes when I asked her out to lunch?

I’d appreciate any other viewpoints on this situation. I just have no idea what I did wrong and why she’s treating me like this. I know it’s a long read but I appreciate any commentary or solutions I can take. Thank you :)

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse.
