I can’t work out if he likes me

So I (f,late 20s) have never been in a relationship before this. Forced myself to go out of my comfort zone and met someone through online dating. we’ve been seeing each other/ dating for 3 months now but there are some red flags and I don’t know if it is me having my normal trust issues or he is a f* boy.

basically after months of sleeping together and going on dates I asked if he is seeing others he said “no” then i said ”so are we exclusive then” and he said “Ummm I guess I can do that”. I don’t know if I have my exceptions too high but I kind of want someone who has no doubts and is excited to be exclusive with me.. does this exist anymore?

He is so sweet and attentive when I am with him but when he has parties or dinners with his friends he doesn’t invite me and puts our plans second to his others. I kind of think he doesn’t introduce me to his friends because I haven’t introduced him to anyone but it’s hard because I don’t have many and haven’t had the opportunity. Anyways I’m worried I’m getting invested in a guy that sees me a fun for the moment but won’t want a future with me. How do I approach this? Or is it still too early?

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
