Are my expectations of him too high?

I feel like he treats me just like any one of his buddies. Today I received a job offer for a position I've been really hoping to get for weeks now... I went through multiple interview rounds that I informed him about and not once did he even send a text wishing me luck or anything (though he does work during the times of the interviews). When I finally received the offer today, I couldn't even tell him right away because he doesn't look at his phone at work (he's a coach), so I patiently waited until I knew he would have a break and when we spoke, he simply said "I knew you'd get it" no smile, no energy. And then proceeded to tell me he needed to take a shit before he gets back to work... I quickly mentioned that I would love to go out and have a drink tonight to celebrate and he lacklusterly said he's not drinking due to training but he'll get a bottle for me if I want... It was very cold-sounding. I personally would expect my man to make sure he shot a quick text right before each interview (even if he had to step to the restroom) and when I finally got the offer, be super excited and insist we went out and have a great time celebrating. I've also had issues with him being much too strict about certain issues... Such as sex. Due to him being an "athlete", he insists that he doesn't want to have sex during the week because it messes with his energy levels. We've fought about this multiple times.... I brought up the issue with him not acting excited about the offer and he insisted he was and I just couldn't see it... With the sex thing, he accuses me of being unsupportive of his career. We have a lot of issues like this.... Am I being unreasonable?? Or is he being a jerk?
