Does he like me?? (18 F 19 M from Guatemala)

I go to a suburban school in Philly and he goes to a school downtown and we met at a party and hit it off. He approached me and asked me to dance (he gave his friend his drink and said “let me lead you” when I looked confused). We hung out the rest of the night with our friends walking around downtown. When we left at 2:30am, he took a picture with us and asked for my number and gave me a hug around the waist and said to say hi to my parents over thanksgiving break because he couldn’t go home to Guatemala to see his.

Fast forward and I DM him on insta cause I hadn’t heard from him cause he thought I had WhatsApp but I didn’t. He invited me to go rock climbing with him and his friend the next day, but I couldn’t since I was leaving to go home. I then asked for his snap (which he rarely uses) and he sent me a video asking how I was doing cause “he wants to know”. We talked for about a week before he left me on open. I then double snapped him and he responded normally with a video and we talked a few more days before I left him on open.

Fast forward a few weeks and I sent him a video of me ice skating downtown and said he should come. He immediately responded asking for my number again so he could FaceTime me and he made plans to meet up with my friends and me at a Crêpe place (he uberEd there to meet us). He hugged me when we met up and made an effort to talk to only me when walking and only made eye contact with me when we were in a group setting. He also paid for my crepe. He walked us to the train station even tho he uberEd home. He gave me a hug goodbye and when I said it was good to see him and he replied the same thing.

I snapped him that evening and we had a few back and forth before he left me on open (he does rarely use snap tho).

Other notes: - he makes lots of eye contact when talking - he makes a lot of jokes and is very smiley around me - he has teased me a little bit - he said he’s not into American hookup culture (I’m not either) - he mentioned an ice skating date he went on (didn’t talk about the girl but how he fell on a little boy)
