She says shes not interested at the moment

Hello guys, I had been texting with a girl, that i see every day at the railway station. We had a nice conversation for 4 or 5 days and then she stopped texting. I wrote after 2 days If everything is ok and she didn’t answer. So after 4 days i wrote to a classmate of her and a friend from me if she knows anything why she doesnt answer(she did not know anything) but then she spoke to her and texted me that shes not interested, i was totally fine with that and didn’t expected anything more. But than the girl actually texted me that shes very sorry that she didnt answer, but that shes not interested at the moment and she really wanted to say me that earlier but didnt know how. So i really want to try to get together with her because she looks perfect and has a pretty nice character we even share some hobbies and interests and i really thought she was interested in me too because she always looked at me etc. . So my question is now should i try it because she said shes not interested at the moment, yes or no and if yes how? i was thinking about saying her sometimes hello at the railway station or whenever i meet her and ask her in a month if she might want to go skateboarding after all(skateboarding is a hobbie that we share)

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
