/u/SaraPieBaron on Unsure about myself and my sexual orientation

Lack of sexual attraction, with almost no idea about it

That's all being ace is :)

Low perception about attraction directed to him

There was a study that showed the humans have a less than 50% chance of accurately determining whether another human is flirting with them - iirc, it was a study on heterosexually oriented folks but I don't have it at hand

I'm thinking that I'm sex positive heteroromantic ace, but there are the nagging thoughts in my head, mostly blaming me for not trying hard enough, or worse using asexuality as a hard to penetrate wall to protect my fragile ego so I can say that I'm not interested in relationships before I'm rejected a lot while trying to find one so I can confirm my doubts about myself.

If you don't experience sexual attraction, you're ace. You don't seem like you particularly care whether you're in a relationship or not, so I'd think the latter half is unlikely
