/u/Mr-Goose4504 on When did y’all “find out” about ur asexuality and why?

For me I discovered it by being in a relationship. I never felt aroused by the person I loved or anyone in general. Always felt like sex was a shore, I didn't hate it but always felt indifferent to it. I just wanted to cuddle, but still forced myself Into these type of things because I felt that's what it was expected of me.

so after some talks she mentioned I might be asexual. my first thoughts where "nonono that can't be" because I felt like a pressure to have sex as a guy??? Because that's what normal people do?" So I was kinda rejecting the idea.

But after I did researchs and really found myself relating to everything I found on asexuality, and after more self reflection it kinda like felt like an eye opener and it all really made sense.

Then I felt liberated and proud of my asexuality, even made an ace cake! Because cake is better than sex
