/u/Chaser_of_Stars on Genuinely Curious, why is everyone like so identified with their sexuality?

For me, I just get excited to share a part of myself and my identity with others. I like being involved in the community because I feel like I belong. I’m at a point of my life where I’m building and learning about my identity and I want to share it with others so that they know more about me. It’s also feels validating knowing that there are other asexuals out there, I would love to help others feel like they’re not alone. Everyone probably has a different reason for being involved, this is just my opinion. Sorry if it didn’t make any sense.
