He wouldn’t let me come to his birthday

So I’ve been seeing this guy for about a month. A lot of his friends are also my friends and I met him at a party he hosted. After which he had another party I attended but nothing happened as I was seeing someone else at the time- he also came to my party a month prior. For the last 3 weeks he’s being going on about his birthday party he’s hosting constantly talking about it o me. I said numerous things implying that I thought I was going throughout these weeks. For example when he wanted to cancel the party because he has a skin rash I told him ‘oh please don’t that’s my only plan this weekend and it’ll be so good’ to which he replied ‘I’ll see you in the week instead when the rash clears’. On the day of the party I said you still having it and he said yes with a celebration emoji and I said what time and he told me the time. A few hours later I told him can you let me know all the details so I know when to get ready. He then completely changed and said ‘why on earth do you think you’re invited to this party?’ ‘I’m having my friends round when did I ever say you were coming?’ ‘That would be so wierd obviously you aren’t invited’ after trying to clear up the misunderstanding he was nothing but hostile telling me that I’m ‘moving mad’ for finding proof I implied I was going many times and he didn’t correct me. Even if there was a miscommunication the way he handled it was what upset me the most.
