/u/StarNight404 on What's your view on love in asexuality? I've written so many love poems, and thought so much about falling in love, but that was like butterflies and a blank space in my life. Maybe I was trying to fill a gap, but it still means something to me. Should my body agree with my heart?

I think you've got it wrong. Asexuality meansthe lack of sexual atraction. You see people, you can think they're attractive, you can get to love someone even, but you won't feel the urge to have sex with them.

Aromantics are the ones that do not feel like they need romantic relationships, so love in asexuality is not something crazy.

If you're aro/ace, you probably wouldn't think so much about falling in love with people and having a relationship, but being asexual doesn't mean you can't love, it has nothing to do with it.

Hope that was helpful ^
