Whaaat? Kinks are orientations? But some kinks develop over time... Sometimes they are affected by our experiences... As sometimes you would never have a kink except for meeting a particular person. All that could sound similar to a sexual preference, except that the sexual preference feeds the kink, not the other way around.

Also, not to be that guy, but if priests were all asexual, they'd prey on their congregation less. But it also would take much of the sacrifice out of the vow of chastity.

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now. We hit it off and spent a lot of time together but she began to push our relationship as if there were a time clock for milestones.
