Would you prefer a man be monogamous to you even if you are free to have sex with other men?

It is important to note that I am not referring to open or polyamorous relationships because those terms typically, or at least often, imply emotional bonds with other people. I am referring to a relationship in which a man is completely monogamous to you, while what you have with other men is just about sex. I would not want my partner to have an emotional connection to any other man having sex with her. Nor is it the case that I would prefer to be with other women. I would be both sexually and emotionally monogamous to my partner, as long as we are emotionally exclusive.

Given the ubiquity and social acceptance of casual sex, coupled with the ability of highly desirable males to have casual sex without commitment, it seems that the difficulty for women of finding high-value mates when they are younger is becoming increasingly difficult. In light of this, is a relationship in which a man is completely monogamous to you while you have the freedom to have sex with other men something you would actively prefer? If so, do you think you would prefer that even when you are young? If it is not something you would prefer, why not and what do you feel you have to lose in such a relationship? If you are older, do you wish you had sought something like that when you were younger?

I know that people typically call this cuckolding, but the term has been used in so many different contexts recently that it conjures up images in people's minds that do not represent what I'm trying to convey. I am not asking about a situation in which a man needs his partner to have sex with other men, nor one in which it is a central or necessary part of the relationship.

For me, it is about knowing my partner would actively want me to have a different role in her life than the kind satisfied by men who only have sex with her and that she would not leave no matter who they are. It is about knowing that nothing would change irrespective of what happened with other men, whereas she would have an emotional and romantic connection only to me. She would have companionship and intimacy with me, whereas other men who fuck her would not have that kind of connection with her.

If you are a woman who has thought about this kind of relationship before or wanted it, I would like to hear your perspective. What benefits you think it would have? Would it make a difference to you if the man were dominant or submissive? Would you prefer him to be dominant or submissive if you were free to have sex with dominant men as you please? What would you do differently in this kind of relationship than what you normally do in relationships?
