Choosing Anal Speculum and Its Size

For quite a time I have been craving using an anal / rectal speculum on myself (for all those wonderful things you can imagine to do with it not least with combining other toys), and in the previous few days I have researched the topic quite thoroughly. I've gone through all the types of specula, their sizes, uses, as well as purchase options. Ebay and Amazon seem good sources with Alibaba offering rarer elsewhere unavailable models albeit for a higher price.

Now, I have to say that my hole doesn't stretch very far: the maximum diamater I have been able to insert (of a butt plug) has been almost exactly 2 inches, with a probability of spreading a teeny weeny further, however, I have not had a toy to test it yet. Based on this I'm trying to ascertain which toy would suit me well. Have to also bear in mind that I'll need to operate it with my two hands alone, which means it should stay deep and firm enough and allow an easy spreading and locking mechanism.

Although my hole isn't very big, I don't think an ordinary two-prong speculum as Barr speculum would be very exciting, because the prongs are only about 20 mm in diameter and you would not be able to achieve a nice round-shaped wide open view. It would instead be long, narrow and frankly boring. A three-prong Mathieu speculum could solve this problem; however, I've read that it's very hard if not impossible to operate on your own.

The one that seems to be a good bet is Collin aka Collins speculum , which was designed for a vagina, however, as can be read online and viewed on numerous videos, it's used pretty successfully on anus too. And you don't need to constantly hold it in place. The dilemma is then about what size should I choose. There are at least 5 sizes, however, stores usually sell S, M and L. Each of them is slightly longer or shorter, but the most important difference in my view is in the height of the blades. The S is about 28-30 mm high, M is 35 and L is 40. I appear to lean somewhat towards S, although am not exactly sure if that would allow achieving a nice open circle-square-ish shape of the hole, as 30 is not a huge height, so I'm thinking of the M size too. Nevertheless, I may be mistaken in my expectations and the size M could be too large and occupy already quite a lot of space in the rectum, not leaving much of the sphincter capacity for spreading. It could also be too long and cause more discomfort for the external soft tissue.

What is the speculum that you use and what is the widest toy you have ever inserted (compared to mine 2 inch diameter). And which size and type of speculum would you recommend for my endeavours?
