My (27F) bf (29M) listens to loud af play through and game review videos, and I'm trying really hard to be okay with it

I'm going to get shredded in the comments for being a crazy chick, but it's driving me insane. Bf watches all these gaming channels on YouTube, turns his videos up full volume, and will watch the videos while we're watching TV. Or making dinner. Or on a walk. I get really set off by loud noises (I always have since I was little, can't stand yelling, fireworks, lawn tools, etc). I have expressed this to him, that these loud videos with sound effects bother me, especially when it's loud enough that I can hear them across the house. I've asked him just to turn the volume down and maybe limit the times he watches them (like maybe not while we're watching TV). He just gives me this look when I walk in the room and shuts them off entirely, and very passive-aggressively says "Oh, I won't watch them, I know you hate them."

How do I handle this? Am I being a jerk here?

Tldr; bf watches loud videos and it sets me off. I'm trying to handle it better.
