I met the most incredible guy by accident

I'm in the end stages of a bad divorce right now. I was randomly in my friends town and she had a friend who was randomly also in town too. She introduced us and we all hung out. It was amazing. We sat at the bar and had a few drink and just talked for hours. I never thought I could connect so instantly with someone like that. He was so handsome and had this booming deep voice that made me swoon. He laughed at all my jokes and I laughed at his. He even liked my jokes about how Satan is a good guy and even made some of his own. I really like this because my ex would always tell me to stop because even though he was an atheist he didn't like other people over hearing and being offended even though it was one of my favorite jokes. We talked about our shared love of horror films, true crime and music. My ex husband hated scary movies and any of the music I like so I never got to talk about it with anyone. This guy was so great and funny and we really just clicked. Well my friend went home and me and him hung out for a while longer and ended up back at his place. That was my first time being with any man except my ex who I was with over 10 years, he was my second sexual partner in my life, and my first one night stand. I know I'm not ready to date anyone right now but I'm glad to have been able to share that experience with such a wonderful man. He's been texting me just normal friend things and not being creepy or rude at all. Tomorrow I'll go back to my hometown and hell go back to his. But it was great, in another life me and him couldve been something awesome.

The difference between being right and being understood

My boyfriend and I are 28. We’ve been together for about 1.5 years and recently moved in together. He’s a pretty patient and easygoing person (Type B) whereas I’m more particular (Type A). I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
