Unsure

Okay, so I started college a month and a half ago, and about 3 weeks ago I was having a really horrible morning and this guy (ill call him E) looked at me then looked down and gave a huge open smile, I fell immediately. So the week after I was walking to the bathroom and he let out the loudest sigh and then after class he actually came up and talked to me, he laughed and smiled at my dumb jokes and he always kept eye contact with me and then he did the thing where he acted like he didn't hear me and leaned in closer and said "hmm?" Still keeping eye contact the whole time, then the next week our eye contact was strong and we were smiling at eachother the whole class. But the previous two times he purposely avoided eye contact, looking at the ceiling and not talking to me after class besides "see you on Thursday" he said this with his back turned to me. And then yesterday I explained at the end of class some personal problems with the teacher and he overheard and explained that he went through something similar and to remember my worth, we actually have a lot of similar things we went through so after that conversation and became brave and i scooted over to him very closely (which he didn't back away from) and told him to open his hand and gave him my friendship note with my number with my origami swan I made him he smiled and laughed and took and then I left the room before him so I don't know what he did with it. And I'm just patiently waiting, what do you guys think? What do I do? P.s. He acts nervous, rubbing his neck, and not speaking as loud as usual and when talking to other classmates his body faces me, I'm nervous I've made him uncomfortable.

The difference between being right and being understood

My (27f) gf (27f) is getting tired of me not sharing intimate/ personal info about me

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. We have more than a year together and we’ve been living together for like 6 months, we get along pretty good and I’m really in love with her, however I can not seem to open up... and I can tell it’s frustrating to her by the way she tells me it bothers her that she feels she’s the only one committed and the one that’s always sharing... My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now. We hit it off and spent a lot of time together but she began to push our relationship as if there were a time clock for milestones.
