Who should pay on a second date?

I (19yrs old) went out on a tinder date with a guy (30 yrs old). We went to two bars that day and he payed at both places even tho I offered to pay in a second bar. He works as a business consultant and I think he’s earning a nice amount of money. Meanwhile I am an international student in Germany who doesn’t work (My family pays for everything). In Germany it’s a common thing that people split the bill so I don’t know what I should do for the next date. I don’t want him to think that I am using him for money so I thought paying for the second date could be a cute gesture. The previous time tho we went to regular bars but this time he offered to got to a fancy restaurant to drink some cocktails (said that just in case it makes difference haha).
